Joining the Team
Requirements
We take the safety of the children in our care very seriously at Light and Life Church. That is why there are several requirements that must be met before serving in our Children’s Minsitry. If you are unable to complete these requirements, Light & Life has other ways in which you may serve. Talk to a pastor today!
Our team starts at 6th grade.
There are different allowances for each age group. Since our ministry oversees the care and spiritual development of children through 5th grade, the earliest you may serve in Children’s Ministry is as a 6th grader. Each age level has different allowances. Every Ministry Leader must be at least 5 years older than the oldest person in the classroom (the only exception for this rule is our Tech Team in the Elementary classroom, as they do not teach or lead a small group).
