Connecting Together

Going beyond Sunday morning

Home Church is where we get to ask questions, figure out life together, care for one another and discover the unique ways God has created us to help out in our communities.

Our mission is to partner with parents in raising their kids to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ. We have a lot of programs to choose from and hope you’ll bring your kids and join us.

Pulse's mission is to make Christ known and see lives changed by the His grace. Middle School Service is on Wednesday nights at 6:30-8:00 p.m. and our High School Service is Sunday nights at 6:00-7:30 p.m.

“The purpose of Celebrate Recovery is to fellowship and celebrate God’s healing power in our lives through 8 Recovery Principles. By working and applying these Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others.  - Pastor John Baker

OUR Core values

all People Matter

We believe each individual matters to God, and each individual matters to us. We strive to make it easier for people to find Jesus and easier for people to follow Jesus.

Spirit leads

We believe that God wants to be active in our lives, both as individuals and as a healthy biblical community. We strive to listen to Him and to follow Him in all we do. He gives us gifts for ministry . His voice speaks and helps us discern the choices God would have us make.

gospel everywhere

We believe that when Jesus told us to take His message everywhere, He meant it. Everywhere means across the street where we live and across the globe. We support missionaries in Greece, Asia, the Philippines, Indianapolis, and Los Angeles.

What we believe

What we believe

Finding JESUS

We become a Christian by faith in Jesus Christ. We must believe that He has once and for all time offered the perfect sacrifice for the sins of the whole world. We need a new relationship with God, which gives us a new life, and this is made possible by Jesus alone. Some people call this relationship “getting saved.” Others call it “being born again,” “becoming a Christian,” “being converted.” The term we use is not important, but the experience is essential. Jesus reaches out to us, and we must respond  by faith to Him, or we cannot honestly bear His Name.

The Scripture

The Bible is the inspired Word of God and the basis of all we believe. We want God’s Word to be the standard and authority for all we do. We recognize that not everyone’s interpretation of the Bible will agree on every point. There will be differences with Christians from other churches and inside our own. When this happens, we subscribe to this ancient expression of wisdom: In essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; and in all things, charity.

The Sacraments

At Light and Life, we observe two Sacraments. We celebrate Communion on roughly a monthly basis. In taking the cup ad the bread, we remember that Jesus shed His  blood for us and gave His body to be broken for us. We remember that we are forgiven sinners. We celebrate Baptisms three or four times per year, and in those celebrations, we proclaim to the world around us that we are new creatures in Christ and that we have charted a new path in life with Him.

Following Jesus

There is more to being a Christian than a one-time prayer of faith. That starts the new life, but then there is the day-by-day living in this world as a Christian. We don’t suddenly have the ability to be perfect people, but we have resources that will help us live a life that reflects the holy, loving character of God as revealed in Jesus.
